The Lexington Pride Festival is a community celebration to empower and bring awareness to the intersectional lives of LGBTQIA+ Kentuckians. The event means something different to everyone, but there are some common themes we hear when we ask what it means to attendees. We found the Pride Center's information online and they were able to answer our questions and provide us with helpful suggestions as well as resources to access in being there for our son.

It was such an enriching, incredible experience to be in a room full of people that were like me, which was something I thought I was never going to be able to experience. To walk into a room full of strangers and to have a shared experience and to get to hear all of their stories - it was really amazing! They are there for all sexualities, all genders, all abilities, all backgrounds, all people.
